We’ve worked with trainers in Canada, the US, and Sri Lanka — but none have come close to Teruni at Pet’iquette. She is, without a doubt, the best trainer we’ve ever worked with. Teruni has been absolutely incredible from day one. When we first got our mischievous Leo, we were overwhelmed, but thanks to her hard work, dedication, and amazing training methods, he has become the best boy. Then came Lady, our little Rottie with a big personality. We were initially nervous because of the reputation Rottweilers have, but Teruni worked her magic, and now Lady is a sweet well-behaved girl. Thanks to Teruni, our dogs have seamlessly fit into our lifestyle. We can take them anywhere and enjoy their company without stress—this has been life-changing for us and for them. Terunie (aka Aunty T) is a dog trainer extraordinaire. The depth and breadth of her knowledge of canine behaviour is impressive. And what’s more, she is an excellent teacher for those hoomans who wish to understand their fur babies better. My Mango (Schnauzer) & Chutney (Ridgeback) have benefited hugely from their sessions with Aunty T and I’ve also learnt a lot. I would highly recommend Terunie.

We met Terunie after our girls (both 2 years old at the time) started fighting with each other shortly after one of them was adopted into our home. The fights got more frequent and escalated to a situation where our family members (both canine and human) needed stitches on multiple occasions post breaking up fights. From the start itself Terunie was amazing! She first did a complete assessment of the situation, asking us insightful questions and giving us a thorough understanding of what was going on from the point of understanding the breed and temperament of our dogs. She was then with us every step of the way during the training process. Our two girls have very different personalities (with one of them being really lazy) and she adapted the training to suit each ones individual needs. She also taught us to read the signs of what could potentially lead to a fight and how to defuse any tension. Our girls are now each others best buds and spend lots of time together on their own without us having to intervene. Terunie has trained them with love and so much affection, and they love her dearly...for us, that is the best recommendation of all and we cannot thank her enough for all she has done!
