Disappointing Experience at Arthugiriya Pet Care Hospital I took my pet to this hospital in Arthugiriya yesterday because she had a fever and was feeling unwell. Unfortunately, the treatment and attention provided by the doctor were very disappointing. The staff didn’t seem to take her condition seriously, and the doctor didn’t offer proper treatment or even provide clear explanations. I was extremely worried about my pet’s health, but thankfully, I decided to take her to another hospital (Baththaramulla) where she received the proper care and attention she desperately needed. The new hospital was attentive, professional, and thorough, and I’m grateful for their help. 🙏🙏🙏 Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic to others. If your pet is seriously unwell, I suggest finding a place that truly cares about the animals they treat.

If you need to kill your pet go to this place. Very bad service from the male doctor. He doesn't know how to treat pets. I do not recommend this place for the services.

Very positive experience and possibly life saving one. Strongly recommend anyone whose pet needs a scan to take them to Dr Mathota. Very knowledgeable, skilled, experienced, with a keen eye. After he spoke to another veterinarian regarding my pet and his upcoming surgery, the surgery plans were revised based on Dr Mathota’s feedback about the extent of complication that the surgery might involve. This was based on what he saw after performing the scan. Now my pet will have an aspiration first and then surgery plans can be revised according to the results. From what I understand generally this might not be necessary if it was a straightforward lump that needed to be excised, but because of his feedback, I feel that my pet will have the best care possible. I will be taking all of my pets to him for scanning. Thank you very much, Dr. Mathota for a very positive experience and for your care of my pet Oliver. I DO NOT recommend that you take your pet here. Our cat suffered an excruciating death yesterday (14/02/23), as a result of poor diagnosis by these so-called 'veterinarians'. He was initially taken to them in November 2022. Now we have to keep in mind that these 'veterinarians' are not the equivalent of God, but they still didn't even try to save the animal. Needless to say, they had months to deal with the issue. One of the two lady doctors (younger one) gave us many pills and a syringe to insert food and meds on 10/02/23. The severity of this act is the fact that they recommended this to a cat who could even eat or drink. And they didn't recommend any type of procedure or an alternative. The service was also really disappointing. The male 'veterinarian', Mathota is a real ******. He came up to my mother and sister and said, "We've done all we can by our side". Now bear in mind, there was no sense of humanity or sympathy from him while he said that. To him the life of an animal is like a pet show, "Now that he's done, we'll move to the next one". And he did. He totally gave up without any hesitation. The female veterinarians were friendly, but they lacked knowledge and professional support. All in all, they would only care about the depth of your pocket, not about your sick pet. If I could, I would give you a quarter of a star, but apparently Google hasn't offered me much of a choice. So, one shiny star covered in wasted time, resources and blood. What a scam. And what a shame.

I highly recommend to NOT go here, all they do is make you spend your money for multiple injections which they do not say what they are, the next day my poor puppy's condition got worse and was not taken seriously after we told them she had a seizure and she was ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD. They misdiagnosed her condition as a small allergic reaction even though we said the puppy had a seizure and because of these uneducated and useless people my puppy died so young. Please throw away your degrees and shut it down.
