We’ve been sending our dogs to VONFIDEL K9 for a decade now and the team there has been instrumental in helping us create and maintain deep and meaningful relationships with our canines and integrate them seamlessly into our lives. We experienced a unique vacation in a dude ranch environment. Vonfidel Ranch riding holidays was a lovely addition to our tour of the East Coast. The k-9 training program is top notch and one of a kind. The trainers earn the respect of the animals they are training in order to gain instructional cooperation. They utilize positive reinforcement to help with developing skills they are aiming to gain and curbing behaviors they want to reduce. In the 2 months I spent there I watched countless dogs being trained by the best trainers you could ask for. True changes were made in the animals that spent time there. Alfie and the crew he supports are phenomenal humans and always do a phenomenal job.

Cannot recommend Vonfidel K9, Alfie and the team highly enough. Our gorgeous Doberman dogs started obedience training in November 2022, with some little behaviour challenges. They were not puppies, aged 4 & 5 at the time. The training, which has been reinforced and developed on all subsequent visits, has been second to none, life changing for us and them! More importantly they love going off to the ranch, who ever heard of a dog who jumps into the vehicle to go to the ‘kennels’ It’s not kennelling of course, every day they are out on big walks, practising skills, learning to be good citizens with people, dogs and horses! On top of all that we have ongoing support from Alfie, any dog behavioural problems we can contact him for advice, a fast and full response always follows… Happy to discuss personally with anyone wanting a genuine and happy customer view.
